Closing session of the 3rd annual podcasting track at Dragon*Con. We review the past four days and think about what might happen next year. Suggestions, complaints, and stories of the good times! Lets all look forward to next year and we'll all do it again!

It might be interesting to make this track an hour and a half and rotate in a new group of panelists every half hour. Last year's was a lot of fun, but it was all over the place with post-D*C euphoria. And one of the panelists had some serious points to make and never got a chance to speak.

Well,
The deal is that we HAVE to use the template we are given, it is how the con makes sure the flow is kept. We got into trouble the past couple years for always breaking the template, and it causes some grief in the way the back end of the con is setup. The counters and such get in a tizzy, etc... so this year we have to stick to the schedule outline.
So, all the panels have to be an hour, if we want more time, they need to be 2 hours, or a half hour, which still needs to take up an entire hour slot.
Hopefully we can do it in an hour, if not, Tee can ask me and we can push it to a double slot to give it 2 hours.

Two hours would be awesome! Last year's sign-off was so entertaining. And there are easily enough people with enough stories to keep the momentum going for two hours. Of course, that's just my personal preference. I have no idea if the other attendees would want it to be that long.

Well,
It kinda already is 2 hours, actually 2.5 hours, since the last two panels end up just being a hang out 'party' of sorts to wrap up the con.
