I saw this last year, and it was awesome (especially the part where one of J. C. Hutchins' glowing balls broke off). If there are any openings, I would like to volunteer to be one of the puppet operators.

When I heard the recording, I was so pissed I wasn't there myself! I was dealing with the whole Ghost Hunters / Smackdown debate issue at the time. <sigh>

It was way cool. If you thought it sounded good, you should check out the video (http://www.lulu.tv/?p=14292). I also managed to get some good pics (http://flickr.com/search/?w=76522889%40N00&q=puppet&m=text) of the puppets and their handlers.

Seriously, though, if volunteers are needed to operate the puppets, I volunteer. (There was at least one audience volunteer last year.)

Contact Jared directly if you want to be an operator. I am not sure whether he has started planning, yet. I'll ping him about it when I see him next weekend, remind him to join the forum and weigh in. Odds are good, though, that you'll be at the back of a long line. :(

That's what I fear. Still, last year he was short at least one person and got an audience member to participate, so I thought I'd try my luck and ask. Do you have his e-mail?

I'm totally open to help with puppeteering this year. There's plans for at least one large puppet that's gonna take more than one operator, so yeah, send an email, and I'll keep your name on the short list.

Hmm. It looks like some of the aliens will have speaking parts this year. At least those look like very vocal puppets.
