In desperate need of a hotel room.

Hey all.

Unfortunately my possible arrangements for Dragon*Con has changed, and I am no longer with a hotel room for the event. I know this is late in the game and I know that I should have had this set up last year, however, I have only just been able to receive funds to go now.

Suffice it to say I want to come this year, this will be my first year going, and I don't want to miss out on an awesome opportunity. If there is anyone looking for a room mate to help with hotel costs, I would be more than grateful for the help. I am willing to sleep on the floor or a cot, whichever works. I am a clean room mate and respectable of people's property, time, and sleep.

If anyone can help a fellow podcaster out that would be greatly appreciated.

Since we're so close to the con you also might want to monitor the Dragon*Con rooms Live Journal as well...

Another option is to look at the map of Atlanta and find a hotel that is right on the MARTA line. Then jump the MARTA to get back and forth the con. It is not as bad as it sounds. There is a MARTA stop RIGHT under the Marriott, so it really isn't that bad if you really need to find a room. :)

Thanks! I was actually able to get a room thankfully.

It's at the Marriott Midtown, which according to Google Maps is only 7 mins from the Marquis. And I'll be rooming with Adam from Backseat Producers, his wife, and one other, so this will be a fun time!

That hotel is not too far. Hope you aren't one who likes to dress in large costumes! That is the only bitch about the hotels that a little further away, walks in the heat. But, if not, perfectly good room! :)
