Since I listen to about five hours of podcasts a day, when I go to Dragon*Con, I like to show my support for the shows I'm familiar with by wearing their pins. Last year I plastered myself with all of these:

And I picked up these while I was there:

I believe I have the largest podcast pin collection in the world, but it's not enough. If you're a podcaster, please post the a link to your pin in the CafePress or Zazzle (or other) store, and I will buy it (as long as it doesn't have a ridiculously inflated price).
I would advise podcasters to steer clear of the CafePress minipins. They're too small to be noticed, and the podcast track floor was littered with them. It's just not possible to fasten them securely.
Also, I would strongly encourage Derek and Swoopy to come out with a new and better pin for Skepticality. I think of all my pins, theirs is the least noticeable. In fact, I don't think either of them even noticed I was wearing it in all the time I was there. Please design a better one. I'd love to buy a pin with the batpig on it.

I must confess to not having any pins for my podcast at all, since physical promotional materials are something I'm still pretty light on. The few sites I've looked at are all outrageously expensive (charging $1 per pin if you ordered say, 100), and it's pretty time-consuming to get a press and manually punch out pins one at a time. I commend JC Hutchins for being insane enough to manually create each one of those pins he gave out, though it's entirely possible that he was assisted by some sort of clone entourage.

Very cool!
We have tons in a big box that we toss all of our 'at the end of the con' stuff in. I wonder if we have any you don't there.

If you do, I'd be happy to buy them from you or perhaps trade something at the con. I'll probably be bringing a lot of packets of exotic Brazilian Tang flavors. Perhaps I can trade you some passionfruit or cashew Tang.

I'll see what we have. Swoopy will know better than I would off the top of my head, so I'll have to delve into the garage tomorrow and rifle through out stack of Dragon*Con Setup boxes. :)

Thank you so much. It's greatly appreciated.

Last call! If anyone has podcast pins available at Zazzle or CafePress, please let me know ASAP, so I can buy them to wear at Dragon*Con.

I'll give you some at the con. I may have Aliens You Will Meet buttons to go with the standard Voice of Free Planet X ones:

Nice. I'll try to track you down and see if I can convince you to part with two pins. :)

Oh, I won't be too hard to find. At 6' 4" I tend to stand out in a crowd. I'm certain I will be at many of the podcasting panels.

I'll try to bring some along. Where and how should I hand them out? Should I hold them until the panel I moderate on Sunday? I can only afford to bring about 30.

It really doesn't matter how you hand them out. Wear one, and hand them out as you want. They aren't something that is really going to make a huge difference to your audience, but they are just one more thing to promote your podcast.
The important thing is to have a good time, and mingle.

I'd suggest putting them on the table in front, but do it bit by bit, placing only one or two there at a time.

Nice!
Mine's the squarest. Actually, it's the only square one. Hmmm. What does that say about me?

Clinton,
Yours is also special, because you're the only podcaster who actually took the trouble to send me a pin in the mail. (Technically, the Pickle pin was also sent to me by Dan and CJ of Love Long & Prosper, but it wasn't the pin for their podcast.)
Justin,
Being the largest is also pretty special.
Next year we really need to have a panel all about pins. (kidding)
